Discover the Story Behind Photozills Photography

Luke Grundlingh (born 20 October 1999 in Durbanville, South Africa) is a South African photographer, visual artist, and founder of Photozills. His work spans landscape, wildlife, fine-art, real estate, and hospitality photography, with a portfolio that showcases some of Southern Africa's most remarkable destinations and natural environments.

Raised in the Western Cape, Luke developed a deep appreciation for nature through his mother, Felicity Grundlingh, a respected naturalist whose passion for wildlife and conservation helped shape his understanding of the natural world. His interest in photography began at a young age and eventually became both a personal passion and professional career.

Luke studied Photography, Graphic Design, and Multimedia Design, developing a strong foundation in visual storytelling, composition, branding, and digital media. As his passion for photography grew, he inspired his father, Emile Grundlingh, to take up photography as well, creating a shared creative journey that continues to this day.

Professionally, Luke has established himself in the fields of real estate and hospitality photography, producing imagery for luxury lodges, private residences, tourism brands, and hospitality properties across Southern Africa. His work has been featured at destinations and properties including Gorongosa Safari Camp, Orange Grove, Makumu Private Game Lodge, Navarre Residence, and numerous other hospitality and residential projects. His ability to blend architectural precision with atmospheric storytelling has made his work valuable to property owners, tourism operators, and marketing professionals alike.

Alongside his commercial work, Luke remains dedicated to landscape, wildlife, and fine-art photography through his brand, Photozills. Whether photographing the mountains of the Cape Winelands, the wildlife of the Greater Kruger region, or luxury destinations in remote wilderness areas, he strives to create images that evoke emotion, tell stories, and showcase the beauty of the natural world.

Today, Luke continues to travel throughout Southern Africa, combining his passion for nature, conservation, and visual storytelling to create compelling imagery for both commercial clients and fine-art collectors.
